We are looking for a vibrant, charismatic Host who thrives in the spotlight of a busy lobby. If you love chatting with people, can keep your cool when the waiting list is 20 parties deep, and possess a natural knack for making everyone feel like a VIP, you’ll fit right in.

This isn't just about passing out menus; it’s about managing the energy and flow of our entire restaurant during peak volume.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • The First Impression: Greet arriving guests with genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and a smile. You set the tone for their entire experience.

  • Volume Control: Masterfully manage the waitlist, quote accurate wait times, and handle seating rotation during high-volume rushes.

  • Air Traffic Control: Coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth flow of tables and avoid overloading specific stations.

  • Guest Relations: Keep waiting guests engaged and happy. Calmly and professionally resolve any seating or timing issues.

  • The Last Impression: Bid guests a warm farewell, thanking them for their visit and inviting them back.

  • Main Station Maintenance: Keep the host stand clean, organized, and stocked with menus, rolling silverware, and reservation logs.

Job Title: SUMMER DAYTIME WEEKEND DISHWASHER & PREP COOK
Position Type: Part-Time (Seasonal / Summer - potential for full time for the right candidate)

Shifts: Saturdays & Sundays at min | Daytime (e.g., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM]) (+ Mon-Wed if available)

Compensation: depending on experience

Summer is our busiest time of year! Our patio is packed, the orders are flying, and the energy is high. We are a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen that relies on teamwork to deliver great food and great experiences. We are looking for a reliable weekend warrior to keep our kitchen running smoothly during our craziest daytime rushes.

The Role: Dish & Prep Powerhouse
We need a focused, high-energy Dishwasher & Prep Cook who can handle the heat of summer weekend days. You will be the backbone of our kitchen. Most of your day will be spent ensuring our line cooks have clean plates and tools, mornings will include  helping the kitchen team prep fresh ingredients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Dishwashing (High Volume)

  • Keep Pace with the Rush: Efficiently wash, sanitize, and restock plates, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans during peak brunch/lunch hours.

  • Food Prep (Morning/Mid-day)

  • Ingredient Prep: Chop vegetables, portion proteins, slice fruits, and prepare basic sauces or batches according to our recipes (all training provided)

  • Line Support: Assist the line cooks by restocking food stations with prepped ingredients before and during the rush.

  • Food Safety: Follow all food handling safety and sanitation guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Weekend Hustle: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You don't get overwhelmed by a full dish pit; you tackle it.

  • Reliability: This is a crucial shift for us. We need someone who shows up on time, energized, and ready to work every Saturday and Sunday.

  • Team-First Attitude: Ready to jump between prep work and dishwashing seamlessly to help the kitchen win.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work efficiently in a hot kitchen environment.

  • Experience: Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train anyone with a great work ethic and a desire to learn!

  • El puesto: El motor del lavado y la preparación

  • Necesitamos un Lavaplatos y Ayudante de Cocina (Prep Cook) enfocado y con mucha energía que pueda manejar el ritmo de los días de fin de semana de verano. Serás la columna vertebral de nuestra cocina. La mayor parte de tu día la pasarás asegurándote de que nuestros cocineros de línea tengan platos y utensilios limpios, y las mañanas incluirán ayudar al equipo de cocina a preparar ingredientes frescos.

Responsabilidades clave

  • Lavado de platos (Alto volumen)

  • Mantener el ritmo durante la prisa: Lavar, desinfectar y reabastecer eficientemente platos, vasos, cubiertos, ollas y sartenes durante las horas pico de brunch/almuerzo.

  • Preparación de alimentos (Mañana/Mediodía)

  • Preparación de ingredientes: Cortar verduras, porcionar proteínas, rebanar frutas y preparar salsas básicas o mezclas de acuerdo con nuestras recetas (se proporcionará todo el entrenamiento).

  • Apoyo a la línea: Ayudar a los cocineros de línea reabasteciendo las estaciones de comida con los ingredientes preparados antes y durante las horas pico.

  • Seguridad alimentaria: Seguir todas las pautas de seguridad e higiene en el manejo de alimentos.

  • Confiabilidad: Este es un turno crucial para nosotros. Necesitamos a alguien que llegue a tiempo, con energía y listo para trabajar todos los sábados y domingos.

  • Actitud de equipo primero: Listo para cambiar entre el trabajo de preparación y el lavado de platos sin problemas para ayudar a la cocina a ganar.

  • Resistencia física: Capacidad para estar de pie por largos períodos, levantar hasta 50 libras y trabajar de manera eficiente en el ambiente caluroso de una cocina.
