Server/Bartender - Part Time/Casual

Job Summary:

Provides both bar and table service, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves taking food and drink orders, mixing and serving beverages, managing inventory, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

 

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Giving guests quality service, ensuring a positive dining experience.

  • ​Greet and seat customers, taking orders for food and drinks.

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer requests, timely & with attention to detail.

  • Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements & to ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages

  • Provide guests recommendations on menu items, including beverages

  • Using a POS system, with attention to accuracy. 

  • Serve food and beverages to tables

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware 

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately 

  • Clear and reset tables and bar efficiently 

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude & ability to build rapport with guests to enhance their experience 

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally

  • Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations

  • Consistently follows all health, safety, and cleaning guidelines inline with ServeSafe protocols

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment

  • Adheres to restaurant policies, including opening and closing procedures

  • Maintaining a friendly & professional work environment with a positive attitude.

  • All other duties assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE THURSDAY NIGHTS 4:30PM-10PM

  • High school diploma (or equivalent work experience)

  • 2+ years waitstaff experience in bartending and/or serving

  • Active California RBS certification 

  • Active ServSafe Food Handlers certificate

  • Ability to stand for an entire shift and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Must be professional at all times.

  • Must engage with all members and guests.

  • Knowledge of drink recipes and responsible alcohol service

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
